The Algiz rune is one of the oldest and most recognizable symbols of the Elder Futhark. For centuries it has been associated with protection, awareness, and the strength to move forward with confidence.
The shape of Algiz is often seen as a human figure standing with open arms. Across generations, this image came to symbolize trust, protection, and a connection to forces greater than ourselves. Algiz is associated with the feeling of being supported on your path, maintaining clarity of mind, and finding the strength to move forward with confidence. For many people, it serves as a reminder that true protection begins with awareness, balance, and a strong inner foundation.
Algiz is often called the rune of the guardian. Many people choose this symbol as a personal talisman because it represents protection, healthy boundaries, inner balance, and trust in one’s own intuition. In modern rune traditions, Algiz is associated with a protective shield that helps its owner stay focused on what truly matters and maintain a sense of direction during times of change.
This pendant is handcrafted from stoneware clay, a material that has accompanied humanity for thousands of years. Earth, water, fire, and the mark of the maker come together in a single object. The rune is carved by hand before firing, allowing the ancient symbol to become part of the clay itself.
More than a decorative pendant, Algiz carries a story that has traveled through centuries. It is a symbol chosen by people who value resilience, awareness, personal strength, and a meaningful connection with ancient traditions.
